As this time dictates, we as artists and personalities must find ways to channel our creative energy into expressing our strengths and our light.  We can find positive, uplifting and courageous ways to turn up our power both spiritually, physically and mentally.  This website is for those who would like to share in reading uplifting stories, viewing inspirational images and art woven from within the times we live in.  We can collaborate and bring light to the fact that we as black people are infinitely gifted. We can look to our heroes for strength, speak our truth and walk our walk like the warriors that we are.

LaToye Manley-Davis is an Author, Poet, Screenwriter, Journalist, Recording Artist, and Army Veteran living in Houston, TX. She has a B.F.A. in Creative Writing and M.F.A. in Journalism. She is currently pursuing her A.A. in Culinary Arts. She’s a mother, grandmother, and mentor. Over the years she has ventured into podcasting, blogging, and several projects in her community.
